Versus Arts Gallery presents How to Heal a Heart?, an international group exhibition curated by Darico Hasaya, on view from 23–25 June 2026.

Bringing together artists from 17 countries, the exhibition explores the human experience of being heartbroken and ways of healing.

Darico Hasaya, the artist and curator:

“Broken. Shattered. Cracked. Split. Scattered. Torn apart. Dissolved.

This is how different languages describe heartbreak.

While going through a heartbreak connected to my family, it occurred to me that we describe the heart as if it could actually break into pieces. And if that is true, perhaps healing is the process of gathering those pieces and making them whole again.

For me, the most powerful tools for healing are art and connection with others.

With this exhibition, I invited both artists and visitors into a shared dance of healing. It is a very special exhibition, bringing together remarkable artists from different countries and cultural backgrounds who open up and reveal the most vulnerable parts of themselves.

I believe that this is how we heal.”

Through painting, photography, sculpture, installation, mixed media and video art participating artists reflect on personal and collective experiences of the heartbreak.  

How to Heal a Heart? invites visitors to engage with multiple perspectives on healing, vulnerability, and collective healing. 

The exhibition is curated by Darico Hasaya (UK/Peru) and presented as an independent international curatorial project supported by artists from across the world.
