Donk

Donk is a prolific anonymous street artist based in London, UK, who has been pasting images onto the streets of London and beyond since 2008.
Originally a commercial photographer, Donk begins his process with photography, which he then transforms into strikingly graphic, hand-finished screen print editions.

Donk's art draws inspiration from storytelling, with subject matter often alluding to the process of growing up. His images frequently feature his family and friends and explore powerful themes such as vulnerability, human strength, and the passage of time, appealing to our shared human experience.

Remixing elements of urban culture and history, Donk creates accessible artworks through which he hopes to communicate “something sincere but ultimately entertaining.” Another significant source of inspiration is his journey into fatherhood, with his son serving as a recurring subject in his artwork.
