ALO is an Italian artist based in London since 2011. He paints both in the studio and on city walls using the same meticulous brush-based technique.
His street works are created without permission or payment, driven by a belief that public art should be free and accessible to everyone. Often focusing on overlooked individuals within urban life, his vivid portraits bridge underground culture and the fine art world.
ALO has held three solo exhibitions at Saatchi Gallery and continues to leave a distinct mark on the streets and galleries of London, Paris, Berlin, and New York.
